Compiz 0.8.x on #Debian sid

it's a pitty and shame that compiz is not enabled by default in all distros

here is howto enable it in debian

apt-get install compiz compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-fusion-plugins-main compiz-gnome compiz-gtk

in one terminal window

ccsm

and in another one

compiz --replace

add it to startup from the system menu

System-> Preferences -> Startup Applications
choose Add
Put the Name: compiz
Command : compiz --replace
Description: Whatever you want

Click Add and reboot
